One of the dimensions of education is moral education, where the teacher performs activities to improve the student, but these educational efforts require their own methods. Educational methods in the field of teacher reform can be investigated in three axes: cognitive, emotional, and behavioral. This research only deals with the tendency or emotional dimension. Emotional methods are the methods used by the teacher to influence the emotions of the student. Emotions, in addition to influencing human tendencies, are also the driving factor of his behavior and movements. Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention to the correct methods of arousing emotions. Although psychologists have looked at this topic in their turn, today, the place of Islamic thoughts and specifically, Nahj al-Balagha, to explain emotional methods along with the teachings of other educational schools, is empty. The current research, which was organized in a descriptive-analytical way with the aim of identifying the emotional methods of moral education in the 31st letter of Nahj al-Balagheh, has been able to extract various practical methods from the said letter.
