In Khisal al-Sadooq, there is a narrative attributed to Imam Sadiq (a.s) in which he denies some illnesses from Shiites such as madness, leprosy, brass, obneh and so on. While some of these traits are present in Shiites, observing such traditions has caused the Shiites with this illnesses to despair and the enemies of Islam and Shiites to spread misgivings. The chain analysis of this hadith indicates that it is distorted. Two of the narrators of the hadith are weak and the infallible companion is excluded from the chain and the condition of the chain connection is not fulfilled. Also, the textual probing of the hadith in the context of its vocabulary analysis indicates a different meaning from its common understanding. In addition, this hadith is in contrast with a series of narratives and is incompatible with the Qur'an and the intellect.
