Implicit narrations (Rīvayāt-e Możmar) are reports in which the narrator, instead of explicitly mentioning the name of the Infallibles (pbut), uses the third-person pronoun. This issue poses a challenge to establishing the continuity of the chain of transmission and, consequently, the authenticity of the hadith. Imami jurists and hadith scholars have adopted various approaches to this problem, including absolute acceptance, absolute rejection, and a detailed distinction among different types of implicit narrations. However, a significant portion of existing research has focused primarily on biographical (Rijālī) and chain-based (Sanadī) discussions, while the capacity of intra-textual indicators in uncovering the referent of the implicit pronoun has been less systematically examined. This research aims to explain the role of textual evidence in verifying the issuance of implicit narrations from the Infallibles (pbut). To this end, it examines the jurisprudential implicit narrations found in the book Wasāʾil al-Shīʿa. Employing a descriptive-analytical method based on library data collection and adopting an inductive approach, the study extracts and analyzes cases that contain textual indicators. The findings indicate that a significant portion of implicit narrations contain evidence that substantially reduces the likelihood of the narration being attributed to someone other than an Infallible. This evidence can be categorized into three main areas: the use of exclusive expressions in the address, the posing of questions that would not typically be asked of a non-Infallible, and responses containing special themes such as the explanation of complex rulings, reports of the unseen, or references to the practice (Sunnah) of previous Infallibles. Based on the research results, although textual indicators alone are not always sufficient to prove the attribution of a narration, they can, along with other chain-based and historical evidence, play an effective role in achieving conventional certainty regarding the issuance of the narration from the Infallibles (pbut).
