Regarding the faith or disbelief of Hazrat Abu Talib, there has been a relatively large amount of debate among scholars of Islamic schools, both Imamiyyah and Sunni. One of the narrations that some public scholars cite to prove Hazrat Abu Talib's disbelief is the narration of Dhuhazah. The main issue of the study is whether such a narration, based on Sunni sources and considering the verses of the Holy Quran, is citation-worthy? Since protecting and preserving the honor of every Muslim, especially the status of the companions of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), is a religious duty, it is essential to examine the aforementioned narration based on clear and convincing evidence. The authors have used a descriptive-analytical method using library resources to examine the narration of Dhuhazah, and the aim of examining the above narration is to examine the above narration based on public sources with an emphasis on Sunni interpretations and verses of the Holy Quran. The study found that the narration is in conflict with the Holy Quran and, considering the clear evidence that the character fabricated such a narration, it is rejected. Yes, it is necessary to state that in order to be able to further defend the existence of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), they hid their faith in some cases.
