One of the levels of the obligation to forbid evil is known as the level of Yadi. Jurists do not have a single view on whether or not to require the Imam's permission at this stage. The application of a number of narrations has led to the belief that the Imam's permission is not required at the Yadi stage. This research uses a descriptive-analytical method and uses documentary sources to validate the evidence that indicates this issue. To achieve this goal, after explaining the verbal and substantive reasons for the issue, the analysis of those who believe in the Imam's permission not being required regarding the application of narrations has been divided into the following five categories: prioritizing the evidence of the prohibition of harming a believer, abandoning the narrations to obtaining the Imam's permission, shifting the subject of narrations to jihad and establishing limits, requiring no effect on the audience, and creating disruption in the system assuming the Imam's permission is not required. Each of these approaches faces challenges, because narrations are not fundamentally in a position to express the requirement or non-requirement of the Imam's permission. However, due to the existence of certain destiny and the necessity of precaution, it is necessary that the Imam's permission should exist in cases that harm the wrongdoer..
